Key Tasks

Supporting the internal and external reporting requirements, including Financial Reporting, forecasting, identifying risks/opportunities, development of project specific reporting and milestone tracking

Investigate differences between actual and previous forecast and budget costs"

Approving all costs through SAP, ensuring we have a customer PO for the activities, resolving any queries with the project team.

Reviewing and investigating any cost overruns with the project team.

Ensuring that all project billing is completed well within month end submission.

Ensure that company financial controls are followed within the project teams.

Raising sales WP’s and claim Dates within IPM, and obtaining necessary approvals to enable sales orders to be raised

Attending regular calls with client/customer on PO’s received, and any missed sales in the run up to PSM submission

Managing PSM invoicing, adding sites to trackers for works completed ready for invoicing across projects

Site by site review of sites on multiple projects, investigating if M5 has been achieved and if both cost and sales have been raised.

Ensuring finance tracker is updated when sites instructed for acquisition based activities.

Raising of WP to cover IRIS Cost/Sale

Approving / GRN of PO once activities have been claimed as completed by the Acquisition PMs.

Requesting IRIS invoicing of completed activities / MS5 claims

Sanity checks on finance raised by Acquisition Co-Ordinators to ensure correct processes are being followed.

Weekly site by site review of works completed and MS claimed with PMs. Covering any missing WP/PO

Any other duties as considered reasonable by the Senior Management Team

Keep all finance trackers and company databases/tools up to date

Supporting central finance with requests.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous Experience in managing project finances
  • Knowledge in financial processes
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent Attention to detail
