Nokia has recently announced that they have, once again, been recognised, as one of the 2023 World’s Most Ethical Companies®.
In 2023, 135 honourees were recognised spanning 19 countries and 46 industries. Nokia is only one of two telecom companies who have received this award in 2023. This honour recognises Nokia’s corporate character and unwavering commitment to integrity and also, our exceptional governance and best in class business ethics practices.

Nokia revealed an upgraded ESG strategy in 2022 that aims to leverage the company’s technological capabilities and solutions to tackle major global challenges and generate value. The ESG strategy comprises of five fundamental pillars, one of which emphasises Nokia’s pledge to proactively and ethically steer its business practices, both within the organisation and throughout its value chain. In this regard, Nokia plans to collaborate with its customers and suppliers to address systemic issues related to environmental sustainability, ethical use of technology, responsible implementation of AI, human rights, and working conditions.
